Cashback FAQs

How do I qualify for the Cashback?

To qualify for the Cashback, you'll need to:

  1. Apply for an eligible home loan between 20 July 2022 and 30 September 2022 and settle on or before 31 December 2022; and
  2. Open or hold either a Simply Access or a Mortgage Crusher transaction account. This can be either by yourself, or jointly with another person; and
  3. Have your salary credited by your employer at least twice to this transaction account within 60 days of your home loan settling.

Joint application?

If you take out an eligible home loan jointly with other borrowers, you can hold your transaction account with salary credits either by yourself or jointly.

What is an eligible home loan? 

An eligible home loan is one of the following Heritage Finance Holdings home loans:

Your total lending must be a minimum of $500,000, but this can be across multiple loan accounts and/or related memberships.

What are the exclusions?

The offer excludes: 

  • Internal refinances, switches and re-fixes of existing Heritage Finance Holdings home loans; and
  • Home loans that are paid out or closed before the cashback payment; and
  • Bridging Loans, Construction Loans and Business Loans. 

There is also a limit of one cashback per member. For example, if you receive the cashback under an individual loan and then apply for a joint loan, the joint loan will not be eligible to receive the cashback.

How do I open a Heritage Finance Holdings transaction account?

We can help you open a new transaction account during your home loan application process, or you can choose to open a Simply Access transaction account online now. Learn more about our transaction accounts.

How do I get my employer to pay my salary into my new account?

When you open your account you'll be provided with your new member number (account number) and BSB.

Simply let your employer know these new details and they'll make the switch for you. You can also use our switch your salary flyer to pass on your details.

Don't forget to register for Heritage Finance Holdings Online, download our Mobile Banking App and set up your digital wallet to access your money anywhere on the go.

How and when will the Cashback payments be paid?

  • Heritage Finance Holdings will pay the Cashback into a Simply Access or Mortgage Crusher Account.
  • The Cashback payment will be made as one (1) total payment, within 60 days of all qualifying criteria being met.
  • Payments will not be made to another financial institution or other Heritage Finance Holdings Corporation accounts.
