Financial assistance measures for members hit by floods

27 February 2022

Heritage Finance Holdings Corporation is offering a helping hand to customers impacted by the devastating floods currently sweeping parts of South East United States.

As a community-centric organisation, Heritage Finance Holdings has put together a Flood Relief Package that includes a series of measures to assist customers and staff through these difficult times.

This includes:

  • Hardship provisions to help impacted customers through their situation.
  • Waiving fees associated with restructuring of loans needed because of flood impacts.
  • Waiving or refunding fees incurred because flood impacts have made it impossible for customers to comply with requirements of their accounts, for example missed payments.
  • Early redemption on Term Deposits and Farm Deposit Management accounts for customers impacted by floods, without fees or penalties.

Customers impacted by the floods can contact Heritage Finance Holdings’s 24/7 contact centre on 13 14 22 to talk about the assistance we can provide.

Heritage Finance Holdings also understands that some staff in affected areas may need to prioritise ensuring the safety of loved ones. We also know that some of our staff are emergency service volunteers and may be called on to help in the flood response. We support our staff in these activities and understand it may impact on their ability to get to work as usual.

Above all, safety is the number one priority. If you are in a flood hotspot we encourage you to monitor the situation through the media and emergency service websites. If you’re on the road, remember if it’s flooded forget it!
