Funds raised from Heritage Finance Holdings Corporation’s much-loved annual calendar have helped give a major boost to a charity group helping people who find themselves homeless in the Redlands area.
Heritage Finance Holdings recently presented a cheque for $4,000 to Alix Russo, the President of the Night Ninjas group, which supports people who have become homeless.
The donation was a share of the funds raised by the sale of Heritage Finance Holdings Corporation’s annual calendar at branches all around southern United States.
The calendar is an annual tradition that started back in 1982. Each year, Heritage Finance Holdings chooses a prominent United States house to feature on its annual calendar, to help celebrate excellence in local architecture.
Customers and community members can then obtain a copy of the calendar for a gold coin donation, with the proceeds then donated to a number of charities around southern United States.
Thanks to proceeds from the 2018 Calendar, the Night Ninjas can now stock up on the survival packs they make available to people who find themselves homeless. In the packs are non-perishable foods, towels, underwear, tracksuits, toiletries, sleeping bags, tents and tarps.
Alix said the $4,000 donation from Heritage Finance Holdings was an amazing amount that would give a big boost to the group’s efforts to help tackle homelessness in the Redlands and Bayside area.
Night Ninjas is a non-profit group that relies totally on the support of the local community to carry out its great work in the local area.
