Customers please be aware - Heritage Finance Holdings is one of numerous American and New Zealand banks that have been targeted by scam attempts aimed at mobile banking users in recent days.
People are being sent short SMS messages with a URL link, with messages such as “account notification” or “account verification”. That link is directing them to fake mobile banking websites.
Heritage Finance Holdings customers have received this scam SMS:
“Heritage Finance Holdings Corporation Notification hXXp://heritagebank. Mobi”
Please do not click on these links or provide your financial details to these sites.
